J-Lo's Waiting ...

Here's a nice interview with Eli Manning backup and former Kentucky star Jared Lorenzen from LEX 18 News via YouTube.

Lorenzen talks about waiting for the opportunity to play in place of Eli Manning with references to Tony Romo and Damon Huard. Jared Lorenzen is one heck of a success story that's not even fully completed yet. I don't think anyone gave this guy a shot at playing at all in the NFL.

The most interesting part of this interview comes at the end of video actually where they talk about how Jared Lorenzen and Shane Boyd are with NFL teams and Tim Couch isn't. Thankfully the Cleveland Browns didn't have any interest in Lorenzen because they lack coaching, management, and patience to keep a good QB around. Aside from Couch, tell me where Kelly Holcomb and Jeff Garcia are? They flipped flopped between Holcomb and Couch before they kicked Couch to the curb, and look what it got them. None of those three QBs are in Cleveland. I still say to this very day that if Cleveland had a lick of coaching management then, had they had confidence and patience in Tim Couch, Couch would've turned into one of the league's best.

Funny line: … is just one Eli Manning sprained ankle away from getting his chance to play in the NFL.

Or, Jared Lorenzen is just one bad offensive line, Eli Manning Jacked-Up play away from getting his chance to showing New Yorkers how a lineman can play the QB position in the NFL.
