The Wildcat Blog congratulates Rich Brooks and the 2006 Kentucky Football team for defeating the Clemson Tigers 28-20 in the Music City Bowl in Nashville, TN Friday afternoon.

Congrats to the seniors who have endured this long to see their hard work and dedication be rewarded with not only their first bowl win but also helping Kentucky earn its first bowl win since 1984. They become only the second SEC team (Auburn) to win the Music City Bowl.

And congratulations to this Kentucky Defense which has been ranked near bottom of the nation which held Clemson to just one TD for the better part of this game, created opportunities, and held Clemson's highly touted running back tandem to under 100 yards combined and no scores.
