Corso Tries To Rip Hope Away From Kentucky Faithfuls

LINK

“Louisville is one of the best offensive teams in the country. Kentucky may score some points, but they'll have to take giant steps forward defensively to even play with those guys.”

“Rich Brooks has done a solid job rebuilding UK football off the Hal Mumme-era NCAA probation. But there is no hope -- none -- of Kentucky ever becoming an elite team in the Southeastern Conference.”

“You look at the SEC, there are too many good teams,” Corso said. “You look at the traditions at LSU and Alabama, Kentucky can't match the schools it has to compete against.”

(Ok, maybe he has a point, but maybe the proper term is unlikely here, however I give Kentucky excellent chances to make Corso #2 in his Dockers this season.)

“I'd say Louisville will be a two-touchdown favorite. Mark that down,” Corso said. “It shouldn't be a close one.”

(Two TD deficit won't be anything to overcome with Kentucky's offense this year, the question is the defense and I'd bet we improve drastically this season contrary to what Mr. EPSN COLLEGE FOOTBALL thinks.)
