Kentucky's Top 10 Rumors!

Well, since Kentucky has finally found their coach, it ends an insane two week period searching for one, especially if you're a Kentucky fan. Everywhere you turned there were rumors galore, I mean, there were so many rumors left and right that someone had to be right. From Billy's wife is looking at houses in Lexington to there's a deal on the table for Billy D but he's waiting to sign it after the season concludes, to Rick Pitino advising Donovan to not take the job because he doesn't want to play him, there were definitely some wacky ones floating around.

Me, well, I'm just glad I didn't pop a vein through the ordeal. One thing I learned though, and it's been said before, EVERYONE's GOT SOURCES when there's a coaching search as big as Kentucky's was. So to celebrate the two-week survival, here's my Top 10 list of reported rumors during Kentucky's two-week search for their next head basketball coach …

Top 10 Reported Rumors During Kentucky's Search For Their Next Head Basketball Coach

#10 Mickie DeMoss will be the next head coach and Kentucky will turn into an all-girls school and Ashley Judd will be president.

#9 Kenny Walker wonders why his name isn't among the potential coaches for Kentucky's next head basketball coach and vows to put his resume on TV for the whole interview the next time Cold Pizza comes a calling.

#8 In a joint effort to save Kentucky basketball, the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky will merge and will be the first school to have two head coaches, Rick Pitino and Billy Donovan.

#7 Mitch Barnhart reportedly has Saul Smith on top of his coaching wish-list to keep the Tubby Smith legacy going in Lexington.

#6 Pitino is looking at vacation homes in Gainesville, quoted as saying he's looking forward to playing Kentucky twice a year now.

#5 The University of Kentucky has reportedly approved a measure that will free up 30 million dollars for the remodeling of the next Kentucky head basketball coach's office.

When asked why he kicked Vitale in the man sack, Bilas replies, “I kept telling him that Kentucky is a great opportunity for Billy D and then Dickie held his ears shut and kept repeating ‘Kentucky fans suck!’, so I man sacked him one for Big Blue!”.

#3 A mysterious plane left the Gainesville area heading to Lexington days before Billy Donovan announced he was staying at the University of Florida. It was later reported that it was Tubby Smith on the plane flying back home from a family vacation. He forgot he was coaching Minnesota.
