Meeks' Sister A Goalie Star

I found this interesting, Jodie Meeks' sister is a Goalie star at Norcross. She posted her seventh shutout of the season after advancing to the second round of the girls 5A soccer championships with a 4-0 win over the Kell Longhorns last month. Athletics must be in the genes.

And speaking of Mr. Meeks, in an interview with the Gwinnett Daily Post.com, Meek's expresses his optimism about next year's team …

“Oh, I'm really happy. Even though Coach Smith is gone and we have a new coach, I'm still happy. And we'll still be a good, if not better team. And hopefully next season we can contend for an SEC title.”

Nice to see that kind of positive attitude from one of our players, but me, if we don't land Patterson, next season is going to honestly be one of the most struggling seasons Kentucky will have in a long time. It's going to be tough and anything better than .500 - .550 will be overachievment.
