Fantasy Pick: Arkansas

Not that I've done any scouting, but I've read by many people who know their college football that Arkansas is going to be very good this season.

The first road game is always tough. It's tests your ability to play in front of hostile crowds. The head games. Can you let it not affect you? If Woodson and Little or Burton want to raise their NFL stock or Heisman hype, they're going to have to have a big game at their first opportunity on the road to start turning some heads. Maybe a huge game isn't necessary since Arkansas will be much more hyped and be the favorites, but having a huge win at Arkansas could in fact raise their stock as players on the rise if they can beat down some Razorbacks to go 4-0 in September. Possible? Yeah. Likely? We'll see. A tough game? Definitely.

I like the upset special in this one. One part possibility, two parts the fan in me. If Kentucky wants to see a conference championship appearance, this game is a test they're going to have to win, and it comes early in the season, so let's take care of business!

Here are my predicted stats:

Woodson: 330, 2 TDs, 15 rushing
Little: 85 rushing, TD, 40 receiving, TD
Burton: 90 yds, TD
Lyons: 55 yds
Tamme: 65 yds
DEFENSE: 2 FR, 2 Ints

FINAL SCORE: Kentucky 27 Arkansas 10
